In 1909 the Swedish writer Selma Lagerlöf became the first woman in the world to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature. Three years earlier, she had written her book "The Wonderful Adventures of Nils Holgersson with the Wild Geese" for reading instruction in elementary schools. In it, a fourteen-year-old boy crosses the entire Kingdom of Sweden on the back of the gander Martin: from Scania in the south to Lapland in the north.
Actress Annett Renneberg, an audience favourite in television series such as "Kommissar Stolberg" and "In aller Freundschaft", will read excerpts from this travelogue, accompanied at the piano by Hideyo Harada, who adds musical local studies to the geographical ones.
